Today, nine year old Nicky was invisible, much like most days though "Good morning mom, good morning dad!" Nicky would say to his parents, but they never heard him. Nick felt as if he were a ghost, doomed to walk unseen by anyone.The only attention he got was yelling, if he acted out. Nicky could't bare to go to school today, so he sat in his room after his father hit him out of anger. Nicky cried, but not from the pain, but by knowing that when he's gone no one would remember him. So in his heart became a void. Pitch black lingered in Nick, and even if his father was to hit him again, he would not feel pain. Nicky doesn't feel anymore.
